Ava Binta Giallo (1995) is a German Artist, Poet and Filmmaker with roots in Guinea, based in Vienna, Austria. They made a Bachelor in TransArts (University of applied Arts in Vienna) and are doing there Master in TransArts and Critical Studies (Academy of fine Arts in Vienna). One year they studied painting with Luca Reffo (Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia). They are practicing Yoga, Meditation and divers Healingmethods. giallo is part of the collectiv fuvu fürunsvonuns which focus on BIPoC empowerment, healing, art and poetry. ava binta giallo exhibited among others at Forum Frohner, Parallel Vienna, Exhibit Studio, Fotogalerie Wien, ehemaliges wellwellwell and Galerie Schleifmühlgasse 12-14. „Art is spiritual mean to healing, transforming and inspiring the soul. We believe in the power of narrative, memory, atmosphere and poetry. And the possibility to navigate energy (language, thought, space, beings, things ...) to empower oneself and others. We are inspired by an inner guidance, nature, the body, history, indigenes knowledge, mythology, astrology and mediumship.
